So recently I referred my friend to my job and she got the job. After 1day of work she txts me and says it’s not for her and she just isn’t going to work anymore.I told her it was fine and I ask her to please at least call so i don’t look bad. No response and she’s clearly ignoring me based on the fact that she posted on her instagram story, so i txt her again question marks and she finally says yes.Let’s also note this particular friend has been treating me pretty shitty the past few months and honestly our whole friendship she goes from being my friend to not txting me back but hanging out with other ppl.Afew days go by and I see her post an add on facebook for this dog waking app and i just click to see her profile, i notice she had two of her friends who I also know post reviews for her, most likely fake bc you shouldn’t have to ask for good reviews to make yourself look good. Two days ago i txted her explaining why i’m upset and how i thought it was wrong of her to have fake reviews and be lazy and lie to make money when I helped her get a job and she didn’t even think about how bad it’d make me look that she quit after one day and didn’t even call them.I basically told her she was acting really phony and fake and i don’t **** with it.She proceeds to tell me that I did the same thing to her when i used to work at a place she referred me to for 3 months until they fired me because I left work at my scheduled time and they were forcing me to be late to a prior commitment

She's not your friend. She's a user. She doesn't care about your opinion of her. She doesn't care that you got fired from your job. She doesn't care that she's lying to potential customers. I mean, there's not really a right or wrong here. She's a bitchy *****. You've caught onto it and it sounds like you don't want to be her friend anymore because of it, so don't worry about who is right or wrong. Just lose her number.
When your employers encourage referrals, it's usually just free advertising to help with recruitment. They don't expect you to personally vouch for their character or be responsible for their actions. This shouldn't blow back on you, your managers probably didn't even see her application. The fake reviews were none of your business and not worth a fight. I guarantee almost every service you have ever used also padded their online reviews. It might not be ethical, but it's the norm. None of this really matters though. You don't like this girl or respect her, so why waste any more of your time? Cut ties and move on.
