there is no such thing as a native american shaman. that is not our tradition.

our healers are found within our communities which most times means on the rez. they also work almost exclusively with tribal members.

there are no reservations near Philadelphia. so the only people you will find who will call themselves native american shamans are frauds who are in business getting money from the gullible.

Kanien gave you the best answer. There is no such thing as a native american Shaman. We don't have "shamans". Anyone who calls themselves such is a money-making fraud. Our healers work only with their own people, on the reservation, and don't advertise. If you really want one, you must go to the reservation and ask.

Otherwise, you're just giving away money to a fake scam-artist.

I know of a healer who lives in Altoona......but he would slap you silly if you ever referred to him as a Shaman.

Anyone who calls themselves a Shaman, isn't a traditional Native healer....they are a new-ager looking to make a buck.
