After EVERY single massacre, there is an uprising in arguements about gun reforms, especially after the Parkland shooting. People say that it needs to be harder for guns to fall into the hands of mentally insane people, but the best way to do that, is to HELP THE PERSON. The real issue that leads to each and every massacre, shooting, stabbing and violent crime is a not receiving the help they need. While giving a person antipsychotics or something, it isn’t the fix that it seems to be. There is no way to say that the person is taking it or anything. The real way to help the person is to offer them actual coinciding and to remove them from the area that is causing them to be that way. There always is a cause. Whether it be a relationship, bad neighborhood, or theirselves. Just giving them medicine isn’t doing the job. People need an actual fix and for the really violent, mentally unhealthy people that could pose a threat to themselves or others, they should receive 24 hour, around the clock care. Psychology is an underrated science, but it is what needs to be studied more. That is what could’ve really save the victims of Vegas, Parkland, Columbine, etc. it is what WILL prevent further mass shootings. Not a gun ban or protests for it. Tell me if I’m wrong or missing something. Tell me 1 mass shooting made by a person living a personal hell, but we’re given a bottle of drugs to help them.

Just because somebody who buys a gun is mentally stable at time of purchase doesn't necessarily mean five years down the line that they're still the same mentally stable person, what with all the uncertainly in life that can have unpredictable results on a persons mental health and so effect it adversely anything can happen and often does, things such as, such as drugs us, relationship breakup, unemployment, anything can and often does happen to a person, sometimes these event are self inflicted and sometimes they're not, but anything can happen and have adverse effects on them
Boring thia is a yank issue
America is years behind civilised countries
Rot in your own mess
So you are saying that only America has this problem. Strangely though, we don't and the reason is, we have strict gun control laws. In a country that apparently has so many nutters, I use the medical term, so as not to trivialise the situation, one would have thought it more prudent to have stricter laws.
No stupid, because you don't know when someone is going to drop their bundle and they has a gun. You need to think about who actually needs a gun, not very many, maybe a gamekeeper needs a gun. Even for the very few people who do need a gun, they don't need one that can shoot hundreds of rounds without reloading. All this mental health help and armed guards in schools nonsense is just because yanks are too attached to their guns so they make other excuses that won't stop school shootings but pretend to so you can keep your guns but in reality, the only real solution is restricting them. Loads of mentally ill people are not on the radar, loads of people drop their bundle and the authorities don't know, and they have a gun. Duh!
