Hi! I'm learning German, and I'm quite confused about the term Grüß dich. I know that Grüß Gott is a common greeting in South Germany, but what about Grüß dich? Is it more of a southern thing as well, or is it used all over the country.
Danke!

It is commonly used in Austria.
I live in South Germany. Gruess Gott is used in Bavaria.
Gruess dich must be Austrian.
In most parts of Germany you use Guten Morgen as a formal greeting,
Morgen!, or Hallo! are more informal, but you probably know that already.
In Northern Germany you can also say Moin! for Good Morning.
Bitte! Ich hoffe ich konnte dir helfen!
Yes, mainly an informal greeting in Bavaria and Austria. In Switzerland it becomes "Gru-etsi" / "Grüezi" / "Grüess di" and sometimes "Gru-essuch".
