Recently, the North Carolina chapter of the NAACP ( the same chapter that just had one of its directors saying publicly that they didnt want black conservatives ) organized a "Moral March" protest to voice their displeasure at North Carolina's new Voter ID laws.
Now, of course, they have the 1st Amendment right to protest, but there's just one problem. The handout the local NAACP chapter gave out to prospective marchers listed a series of "DO" (acceptable) and "DONT" (unacceptable) items.
DO #10 was a line that said... and I quote " DO bring a Photo ID and keep it on your person at ALL times".
Kinda hypocritical, isnt it??? Asking people to bring a photo ID to an event protesting the use of ID's to identify one's self???
Wha???????????? ::::head explodes:::

The honest people will consider it no problem as they already carry an ID for driving and other things.
Unless they have unpaid parking tickets ... ironic.
Children won't have ID cards, and some handicapped and elderly people might not have ID cards. I think it is not required by law to have a drivers' license or any photo ID to operate a motorized wheelchair in public areas or to cross public streets.
The dishonest people will not want to be carrying a state-issued ID because they don't want to be easily identified, especially if they have a criminal record or there are warrants out for their arrest. And that is assuming they have a state-issued ID at all.
Maybe this requirement is to make troublemakers stay out of their protest. The people who won't be voting anyway.
Let's see....what IS the difference between attending a voluntary march and a guaranteed right of citizenship?
I get mine at Tom Thumb. Five containers for $5.00. That's 40 quarts enough to last me almost a whole week.
voter impersonation happens about a fraction of 1% of the time
No, it's not hypocritical, as you well know. And the NAACP is a great organization.
At the hatred store in the intolerance section.
