You apply for the £190 grant when your are 25 weeks. Your midwife will give you the form for it.
You apply for the sure start maternity grant when you are 29 weeks, you can get the details off www.direct.gov.uk This will also give information on anything else your entitled to. You will need you mat B1 certificate from your midwife to apply, (at least you did 2 yrs ago, i don't know if its changed).
Any time from 25 week onwards. Your midwife needs to sign a form so just ask for it once you hit 25 weeks. It is taking a while to come through at the moment, I put in for mine at 31 weeks (I forgot to ask at 25 weeks!) and it got it paid into my account the day after my daughter was born!
There's nothing more you can apply fr during pregnancy, but don't forget to apply for child benefit and tax credits once your little one is born! They only back date child benefit 3 months from receipt of application, and it's 20 pounds per week.
