Values have to top the list but like some others have said you also have to have common interests or at least be willing to look outside the box and develop some common threads. Eye candy can only keep the fire burning so long then there has to be some fuel added to keep the fire going or it will smolder & go out. Great question!
I would say values. You can have the same interest but if you don't have the same values chances are it won't work out. UNLESS you guys can respect each other's values. :)

Lol.. I have no luck at relationships.
I always seem to be attracted to the *Bad boys*
I don't like bad at all.. so who knows why.
I'm enjoying being single and don't plan on being in a relationship unless
I can find someone that has these traits:
1) Jesus lover
2) Respectful
3) Nice looking
4) A gentleman
5) Has a career
6) A sense of humor
7) knows how to communicate :)
8) Is willing to cook dinner twice a week.
9) Is not lazy
10) No drugs
11) Appreciates
12) Romantic :)
If a man will put me first... he would never have to ask
for anything. I would take care of him as well. :)
then to be honest.. I probably wouldn't.
I feel that God wants me alone. I out too much in a relationship.
He would be my #1 priority more than likely..
God needs to stay my #1.
He keeps me focused where I need to be.
I'm afraid of getting off track.
I have done that once before. I'm not doing that again.
That was the worst time of my life.
Lol.. sorry this was so long (((Ron)))
All that I am.. I owe to Jesus Christ...
revealed to me in His divine book!
I have never been more content and experienced
such pace as I have now. :)
God Bless you,

Common Values
Common values but something has to attract people together first like music or common interests

I think common values, but ya can't discount the others as bein included.
Common values don't always equate to the whole spectrum of experiences in a relationship that cause happiness, or longevity in a bond that may weaken.
IE: even related to what values two share, if that's all they have mutually, then I see it as kinda weak, in not so substantial.
Common values definitely without question.
I'd say common values...but common interests is a plus!
