A clue: Wise Owl's answer leads me to offer this clue. "Turkish delight" in my Q is a play on words. I am not asking about an edible treat, but something: which Napoleon obtained from Turkey; which must have delighted him, because he kept it with him for many years; and which is now stuffed (but it was not stuffed in Napoleon's time).

This is what the Musée de l'armée shop sells, and it does not include stuffed Turkish delight.

Edit:
OK. Since you are not talking about sweeties, you are talking horsemeat!
In 1805 the Sultan of Turkey presented Napoleon with a grey Arab horse, le Vizir, which became one of the Emperor's favourites. 10 years later Napoleon brought it with him to Saint-Helena. The horse died in 1829, eight years after Napoleon. Originally displayed stuffed in the Manchester Museum of Natural History, it was subsequently presented to Napoleon III by the museum and now resides in the Musée de l' Armée in Paris .
Actually Napoleon had a favourite Turkish delight and it was stuffed with pistachios.
