From August 1941 to April 1945, hundreds of thousands of Serbs, Jews, and Romas, as well as anti-fascists of many nationalities, were murdered at the death camp known as Jasenovac. Estimates of the total numbers of men, women and children killed there range from 350,000 to 800,000. And yet, despite the scale of the crimes committed there, most of the world has never heard of Jasenovac which was the third concentration camp in the number of victims in all of Europe.
Today there is a popular singer in Croatia. His name in Marko Perkovic Thompson. He calls himself Thompson after the Thompson machine gun that was used to kill the Serbs in the Serbian ethnic cleansing during WWII. Recently he was given an award by the Pope. And to this day he sings songs advocating the killing of Serbs.

The Vatican is involved directly or indirectly with just about every atrocity that has happened to mankind since they came into existence. They are Satan's church and he has used them well over the years to destroy innocent people, whether it was in the crusades, pogroms, or the holocaust. They are the ultimate evil on planet earth. They are an abomination to all of mankind because of their atrocities.
I doubt if the Vatican themselves were involved. The ethnic tensions there go back to before World War II, as you know. They united briefly to some extent to fight the Germans but they were ultimately all taken over by the communists under Tito. When Tito died, the unity broke apart, as you know. The conflict between Eastern Orthodox and Catholics is a thousand years old. The Serbs have been aligned with the Russian Orthodox and that is the source of additional friction. And then you have a bunch of Muslims in there, also. I think that it is a perpetual nightmare that Europe ignores and the USA got involved with over Kosovo with little success. The area is called the sick man of Europe. That area is like the war between the Russians and the Germans--the accusations on both sides go on and on to this day and so it is with Serbia, Croatia, and Kosovo.
There is hardly anything economically worth fighting over but the troubles go on and on since before World War I. which started in the area. But I agree that it is strange that Orthodox and Catholic do not get along better considering that the Muslims are the real stone-age people in the area, holdovers from the Turks I guess.
Clearly, you are the expert in the area--am I correct or not?
Jasenovac was a soap factory. I went there a few years ago. Too many mosquitoes. Thompson is one of the best Croatian singers. He's a patriot but communists accuse him of fascism. He sings about it "Neka nitko ne dira" (Don't let anyone hurt [Croatia]). He is also a war legend and his songs inspired Croatian soldiers to fight the enemy and free Croatia from the Serbian oppressor.
