I have a little dog right now that looks just like that one but is mostly white with 2 tan spots at the shoulders and tan ears and a tan spot over one eye and he is Jack Russell and Chihuahua mix, I would say your dog is a Terrier Mix for sure, no telling really, but a real cutie! My dog has that wild wire hair also!
It's a mutt. Looks like Schnauzer/Poodle to me. But there could be a third breed in there as well. Would you really get a dog just because it looks a certain way?
You just answered your own question. It's a mixed breed dog of unknown origin. It could have many different breeds in it going tracing back for generations. I would just considerate to be a Heinz 57 variety mongrel, with probably some sort of terrier/terriers in it's background.

A terrier mix. Reminds me of a Cairn Terrier. I had one as a teeenager.
I see some Yorkie and Cairne Terrier.

That's one angry mutt. When he gets bigger don't turn your back on him. As to breed I think he has some Mafioso in him.
Some terrier mix.
