Please show your solution. I don't know how to solve it but I think the answer is -5/13?
tan X = -12/5 = Perpendicular(P)/base(B)
By Pythagoras theorem
Hypotenuse(H)^2 = P^2 + B^2
H^2 = (-12k)^2 + (5k)^2 ( Here k is a constant)
H^2 = 144k^2 + 25k^2
H^2 = 169k^2
H = 13k
CosX = B/H
= 5/13
Therefore, Cos X = 5/13
