All she pleas for is based on her faith and that is not respecting separation of Church and Sate.
What in the world has to do god with politics?

I don't think people understand how dangerous she'd be in office. Like a kid a gun shop.
Palin/McCain (note the order): Eager to start World War 3.
Why? McCain believes there is fame that one gets from war (see all his POW ads) and is willing to sacrifice American lives to get more.
Palin wants to reduce everyone's freedom with her fundamentalism just like the slavery via fundamentalism practiced by terrorists.
Obama: Strive for peace via negotiations first.
The stuff about Obama being a Muslim is so ridiculous, especially when they couple that with saying that he'll force everyone to have abortions and have gay sex. Generally, Islamic law is even harsher on homosexuals, abortion, and all the other things that fundies hate... To be fair, though, modern Christian fundies tend to be all bark and no bite, while fundamentalist Muslims are much more likely to go out and actually hurt someone, or at least in the case of those living in the middle east. This is a direct result of the government being run based on religion, and not secular politics. Separation of church and state is the main barrier keeping western nations from devolving into the situation in the middle east. Case in point: Muslims who live in secular countries like the US are no more likely to harm someone than Christians are, yet people of any religion living under a theocracy will inevitably commit horrible crimes. It happened in Israel when the ancient Hebrews were in control, it happened again medieval Europe with Christianity, and it's still happening in the middle east thanks to governments that rule their people by the Qur'an.
I have worked for Christians, Jews and Muslims as a nanny
and I know that the Muslim men have no regard for the feeling of women. They treat the help worse then their wives and daugthter as they consider their women their *property* to dispose of as they deem
proper..I have a sister who worked in Kuwait and he worked for a
Doctor (a General in their army) and his wife was a Egyptian women
but to make a long story short..the Muslims fasted and expectedd the
maids, cooks, and nanny to fast with them..most of the Philippine
and Europeans were forced to fast even though they were Christian
and they were not paid but every three to four months (if they felt like it)and Sexual abuse was the norm in Muslim households and the
governments never really listened to the Philippine government complaints until they threatened to withdraw foreign help from the
Saudiss
Don't think the Islamic Fundamentalism is like Sarah Palin Pentecostalal beliefs..if you lived the life with Muslims you would see the
difference. I don't care what Muslims do to their own as most are not
responsible for their culture but don't think there is a correlation betweeChristianityty and the Muslims..just live in a Muslim environment and then find out for yourselfrememberer JIHAD?
There is one slight difference: Islamic fundamentalism is based on some concepts of the Quran, at least (jihad, etc.). No offense to Muslims.
Palin's mention of war being God's plan and stuff like that and using guns are so far from what Jesus said and what Christianity is supposed to stand for, that it is scandalous!
Nice spin but it doesn't wash. She hopes and prays the country is doing God's will. See the difference in what Palin says and what that liberal blog says? But you knew that didn't you?
Palin is not out there encouraging people to strap bombs to themselves and then go grocery shopping. Christian fundamentalism does not believe that "death to the infidels" is the basis of their religion. They may talk you to the edge of insanity, but they will not put a gun to your head if you disagree with them.
The only difference is she's vouching for Allah's more common name. Seriously... this whole religion thing again? I can't believe they're even letting her step up to VP, talk about desperation on the republicans' part. She's going to put us back on that time frame of religious bigotry.Next thing you know she's going to preach about how we should be ashamed of our bodies and our ideas, fight off the Muslims off of Jerusalem, burn witches at the stake, and convert gays to the church so that they can become heterosexuals. Oh wait... the last one is already one of her goals.
Thanks god, for producing an idiot
Btw, just because she doesn't do things that Muslim terrorists are stereotyped to do, doesn't mean her fundamentals aren't similar to Muslim fundamentals. In the first place, terrorist acts are extremists' actions. Not all Muslims are extremists and the bible (especially the old testament) mirror some of the Qu'ran's more violent advocations
she will have nukes if elected.
Roger Ebert on Sarah Palin: The American Idol candidate

BY ROGER EBERT Sun-Times Movie Critic
I think I might be able to explain some of Sarah Palin's appeal. She's the "American Idol" candidate. Consider. What defines an "American Idol" finalist? They're good-looking, work well on television, have a sunny personality, are fierce competitors, and so talented, why, they're darned near the real thing. There's a reason "American Idol" gets such high ratings. People identify with the contestants. They think, Hey, that could be me up there on that show!
My problem is, I don't want to be up there. I don't want a vice president who is darned near good enough. I want a vice president who is better, wiser, well-traveled, has met world leaders, who three months ago had an opinion on Iraq. Someone who doesn't repeat bald- faced lies about earmarks and the Bridge to Nowhere. Someone who doesn't appoint Alaskan politicians to "study" global warming, because, hello! It has been studied. The returns are convincing enough that John McCain and Barack Obama are darned near in agreement.
Um one of them believes in the son of God
the other follows one who was probably was possessed by the devil
Jesus said 600 years before Mohammed's birth that false prophets would follow him
and that
the devil will quote scriptures for his own purposes
kind of simple I think
For you to say that shows you have no clue what fundamentalism truly is.
She did NOT say her country is doing God's will, instead, she prayed that our leaders are performing God's will, basically hoping not that God is on our side, but rather, we are on God's.
A fundamentalist would have no doubt that they are performing God's will.
