the taylormade tour burner is a BEAST of a driver. The sumo is solid and lookes amazing but on a pure performance standpoint, go with the taylormade hands down
Only you can determine which club is better. I have the Sumo 5000 and love it. TaylorMade drivers are #1 on the PGA Tour. I like Nike products(that's all I play) so that's what I go with. It doesn't mean it's the best club overall. It works for me though.
I actully have the Nike SQ sumo 5900 square driver AND the taylormade tour burner Fairway 3 wood.....and put it this way, you cannot hit a bad shot with either one....I'd give the nike sumo 5900 a slight edge since it's more forgiving shot wise, plus the square driver can help you align your tee shot.....but you can't go wrong with the burner either
Get the nike driver and burner 3 wood and a good golf swing and you'll hit every fairway!
Drivers should always be purchased on how they feel to the buyer and not on some recommendation from a Yahoo golfer. Go to a facility which handles all the aforementioned clubs. Try them out. Then you select. That is the way all better golfers go about their purchases.
