I'm trying to learn Korean, I've been studying on the internet (I know, not the best way to learn it but it's all I have) and I'm also learning a bit from my Korean friend, but he sometimes has a hard time explaining things in english so I want to learn Korean and be able to talk to him in Korean instead. I've been studying some conversations and in a few sentences I always see this "ㅋㅋㅋㅋ" what does it mean?

ㅋ is the Korean letter "k", which is called 'giyeok' which is used to represent laughter (in the same way that we write "haha" to represent laughter).

The Hyundai Group (meaning "modern" in Korean) was founded by Chung Ju-yung in 1947 as a construction company and was once South Korea's biggest conglomerate (chaebol). The company was split into five business entities on April 1, 2003 including Hyundai Motor Group, Hyundai Group, Hyundai Department Store Group and Hyundai Development Group. Hyundai is often pronounced incorrectly with 'hun-day' (US) and 'high-oon-die' (UK, Aus) classic examples which stem from advertising campaigns in the US and Australia and a phonetic reading of the English spelling. The correct Korean pronunciation, [hjʌn.dɛ], has 2 syllables and sounds like 'hyun-deh' where 'hyun' rhymes with 'shun'. The exact transliteration into English from Korean (under the current system, revisions take place from time to time) should be "Hyeondae" rather than "Hyundai".
It's a symbol for laughter which in Korean is Ha Ha Ha
