In general, the same people are not invited to multiple showers. That can come off as a greedy gift grab.

I have here and there over the years participated in work showers for someone, where I was also invited to their friends/family shower as well and received separate thank you's for both.

The work one's can be less formal, you can hand deliver them at work.

Send out the thank you for this past shower before the next shower.

The next shower thank you needs to be send out before the wedding.

I had two showers, on from my side and on from the groom side.

The only person that went to both was my sister, who was my MOH.

1) I think it is impolite to invite the same person to multiple showers. I can understand if you have one shower for family, another for colleagues and maybe another for certain friends. Or if someone is member of two groups in your social circle I would tell them they can come to both events if they want - but please only one gift - or maybe i’d ask them if they have a preference for which one to go to just have them att nd the one.

i would do it after the first shower, otherwize they might think you dont appreciate it and not give you anything the 2nd one

If you're squeezing your friends for two gifts, you give them two thank you notes.
