You just keep calling and getting a busy signal until you email some sad paper pusher who help you out. Then you get a thing in the mail that says to visit the office (which is closed) or call the same number you were calling before in 3 days. You get this on a Friday, or else be denied benefits.
Remember that running gag in the 90s at the DMV when you go to line 5, they send you to line 12, they send you back to line 5?
P.S., the proper way is to go to the office in person and they basically tell you how it works and then you're all good. Some offices are taking appointments in person. You just call the number that's always busy...
