New tub faucet ( two knobs) One hot and one cold installed by a plumber but it has a constant slow drip. There seems to be no access to the taps to get at installation. (I live in an apartment). I have hard water so this is staining my tub. Landlord is not interested in fixing.

is the drip hot or cold? there's likely a cover plate on the tap. it's the part with the letter for C or H on it. this probably pries off. paring knife [carefully] will likely do. inside, there a screw. turn water pressure to off and tighten the screw slightly. turn water back on and test the tap.
how to tell which it is ... if not obvious ... turn inlet valve to hot water heater off and open hot tap to relieve pressure. then turn tap off. if it still drips, the offender is the cold.
Typically they are fixed from the front. You’ll have to remove the stem.
My tub water knobs and the shower knob are removed from the tub side (not inside the wall) to replace washers, seals and even the whole stem assembly.
