I have called the border and I am able to travel from Canada to U.S by plane which I’m doing August 7th. I have a stop over in Charlotte South Carolina then I fly from there to L.A which I don’t think would be a problem it’s the way back to canada for me because I have a layover in Calgary and I’m not sure if I’m aloud to have a layover or if I should be fine? Someone help I bought my plane ticket already

If you are arriving from outside Canada and are deemed safe to fly, you may board a connecting flight to your destination. However, upon arrival at your final destination, you must go directly to the place where you will isolate, and remain there for 14 days. This is because you are still at risk of developing symptoms and infecting others.
You may be subject to additional provincial or territorial public health measures at your final destination.
If you have symptoms of COVID-19, you will not be allowed to board any flight until:
14 days have passed or
you present a medical certificate confirming that your symptoms are not related to COVID-19
If you have signs or symptoms consistent with COVID-19, you will not be allowed to use public transportation to travel to the place where you will isolate.
The Airport is not busy but you are responsible to allow time for the Customs/ Immigration and Provincial Health Check.before you can get to your YYZ flight.
If you are on the west side of Toronto suburban area often the Fare to YHM is much cheaper.

The airline wouldn't sell you the ticket if you couldn't take the flight. Canada doesn't want people coming in from the US because of COVID, but I guess as a citizen, they have to let you in. If you want to know what you're ALLOWED to do, call the airline.
Why should it be a problem? If you have a LAX to YYZ ticket, you'll be fine. Enjoy!
