This is mathematical questions.
You were captivated by Deathworld and arrived at the crossroads of "heaven and hell".
An ogre takes each of these crossroads.
"An ogre of the honesty" that one says only a true thing.
"An ogre of the liar" that another one says only a lie.
The ogres know the way to heaven and hell.
You can ask only an ogre of either a question "once".
By the way, what kind of question should you ask an ogre so that you know the way to heaven safely?
This is the questions that the application of the mathematical thinking process is needed.
Please think logically.

This is an old riddle. The correct question is:
"If asked the other ogre which way to get to hell, in which way would he point?"
If you ask the liar, he will point the way to heaven, since the other ogre would point you truthfully to hell, and the liar would point you the other way (i.e. heaven).
If you ask the truthful ogre, he would truthfully indicate that the other liar ogre would point you to heaven. Hence, you would still be pointed to heaven.
The riddle I haven't figured out is this: Three ogres, one always tells the truth, one always lies, and one does whatever he feels like. You get two questions.
EDIT: Wait, I just figured it out. Ask first one of the three:
"Which of the other two is most likely to tell a lie?"
If you ask the truth-teller, he will point to the liar. If you ask the liar, he will point to the truth-teller. If you ask the flip-flopper, he will point to either the truth-teller or the liar. Either way, you don't get pointed to the flip-flopper.
You then ask the guy you've been pointed to:
"If I asked for the path to hell, which path would the other non-flip-flopper guy point me to?"
This would work for similar reasons to the other riddle.
You pick one ogre and ask him what the other ogre would answer if you were to ask him which is the safe way to heaven. Whichever road he tells you is the right road, you must take the other one.
If you chose the ogre who only tells the truth, he will tell you the wrong road because that is the answer you would have got from the ogre who lies. The truthful ogre can only tell the truth and knows the other one would lie to you and therefore gives the answer you would have got from the liar.
Likewise, if you chose the lying ogre to answer your question he will tell you the wrong road too! That is because although he knows the truthful ogre would show the road to heaven, he himself can only tell a lie and therefore knowing the truth he would have to lie, he would have no option.
"If I asked the other ogre which way leads to hell, which way would he say?"
If you asked this to the truther, he knows the liar would point down the wrong road (heaven), and since he tells the truth he would point down the road to heaven.
If you asked the liar, he knows the truther would point down the right road (hell), but since he lies he would point down the road to heaven.
Take the road that the ogre points to.
