If I was Rodger more then likely I would have more money then the required down payment, after all cars do not always come with a full tank of gas and additional funds would be required to put it on the road. So more then likely Rodger paid cash for the car so he would not have to make payments, took the wife and kids out for dinner. Then went out an bought a house, because he just won the "Power-ball Jackpot".
Roger had nothing and was unable to buy the car because, in school, he would ask people all of the answers instead of actually learning how to do his own homework.
