Mali has done well for itself. Since 1992, it has held regular free and fair elections, it has had some economic groth and human rights abuses are limited. Still, there’s little in the way of free press (the government has forced journalists to self-censor) and the judiciary is relatively wear and incompetent. It is not a liberal democracy because liberalism slowly abolishes all private property. Being a liberal democracy simply means subjects vote away their rights and say thanks doing it.
Otherwise. Mali has a weak system due to press restrictions and weak judiciary. It is on course to being a republic. Let it continue reforms. Let it's People continue being citizens.
Not much free press...journalists being forced to self-censor. Bad judiciary, which doesn't allow for justice...
