It's not a sin and don't let ANYONE tell you it is. You like who you like. But I woudnt ask her out. Just be friends with her and get to know her. Suppose she's not into girls. Then you will have alienated her for good. Be friends first and don't put the moves on her just yet.

Sin is a made up concept to allow religious leaders to control people. As long as you treat each other with respect and care about each other how can that be "bad"???
