Last night my boyfriend and I were drinking, I don't usually drink because I don't mix well with alcohol but I had just lost my job and I was stressed. I ended up drinking way too much and ended up saying some really awful things to him. He didn't do anything wrong so I don't know what compelled me to be so mean. He was shocked and said he couldn't believe I was even thinking those things. I didn't mean anything I said, but it's hard for him to believe that and I don't blame him. We have such a great, healthy relationship and now I feel like I just ruined our bond... What can I do to make things right again?

Depending on what exactly you said. You should apologize for being a obnoxious drunk and if there is any need to explain certain drunken statements you better be ready with a good reason.
Number 1, stop drinking when youre stressed or upset. That always makes me lash out and become a drama queen.
Number 2, it could also be the brand of alcohol that you were drinking. Jose Cuevo(however you spell it) makes me a complete b i t c h and turns everyone against me. Its not good... I stopped drinking that, and I noticed that my attitude changed.
Number 3, talk to him. Tell him that you will stop drinking when youre stressed and you will not drink the same alcohol that you did, bcuz it could be that too. If youre willing to risk finding out if its just the alcohol itself, try drinking the same kind when youre happy and see if youre still a b i t c h, and if you are, its just the alcohol.
He has to be willing to work with you. Relationships are 50/50.
If hes not willing to stay with you just bcuz you lashed out when you were DRUNK (and god help you, if youre drinking you both should fully know alcohol changes people), then its just not going to work out.
If he wont even try after you made a mistake, it will never work bcuz people arent perfect. Thats how we learn.
