So I’ve been working at a psych facility for 3 years now. I’m a psych major so this job gave me some great experience in the field. The company tho isn’t great. Low pay, High turn over rate and rn people have been leaving due to Covid. In the last 2 weeks 5 coworkers have tested positive for Covid and it makes me anxious to go to work. 

I was planning to quit in early September since I will be going back to college to finish my degree. I want to focus on school full time so I can’t work at my current job since it’s also full time. 

I already got approved for my student loans which I pulled enough to keep financially stable in the case I can’t find a part time job or if COVID gets worse in the fall. Hopefully that won’t be the case. 

My only concern if I quit now that I’ll be without a paycheck for a month and my loan still needs to go through my college for the final approval. 

Like I got sent home this morning because I felt nauseous. We have been getting tested once a week. I got one last week and got another one this Past Monday. I’m still waiting on the results on the second one but the last one I’m guessing I was fine since I wasn’t called up. 

This is just getting annoying now. I was sick back in May due to a health scare not related to COVID and missed a week. They have been on my *** on my attendance and I don’t want to leave the place with a bad reputation. I may not like working here but it’s a job and could be a safety net in the future if I needed it.
