Assuming that you are getting it professionally done, you should consult a good hairstylist before attempting something as dramatic as Rihanna or Pink's haircut. A good hairstylist will tell you if it looks good with your hair type or facial type and she can also recommend other types of haircuts for you that you wouldn't even think of. For the self esteem issue, I know people may tell you to not worry about what others say..(easier said than done)..but this is you and your hair. Hair grows back and you can change it if you don't like it. It doesn't matter what others think..this is YOUR STYLE and nobody can take it away from you. Good luck!

depends if your face shape will suit it.

you need to work out if you have a round or oval face etc.......then look for some pics on google with your face shape, see what people with the same face shape look like, how there hair is styled....

always remember hair grows (but if its anything like mine, it takes an age and obviously you have to live with it in the mean time . tho they do say short hair grows quicker.

i recently cut mine from shoulder length which id been growing for ages to a cut like emma willis on big brothers bit on the side, and i love it...my face is quite round, and i am not skinny! so i have a big ish chin,,,,,lol
