…when he never “tapped that”?
Update:Internet for God, I don’t care if you appreciate the way I worded that - you had a choice, answer the question or not. But thank you for taking the time to answer my question (but only after attempting to belittle me for asking a real question)

According to the Bible.........Luke, 17.34........it clearly states, that his EXACT words were........
"WHAT'CHA TALKING ABOUT, WILLIS?????????"
No one stops to think that Joseph was in love with the girl and could not bear to be with out her.I think it was commendable for him to take on the responsibility of razing Jesus as his own son.Teach him a trade and school him as a Rabi's son.Back then Jesus would have been known as Jesus Christ son of Joseph of Arimathae,House of David. He was not called Lord tell latter. The two names Jesus and Christ were not uncommon at that time, and being Marys first son he was called the same as First son, Saver or barrier of his fathers name. Not uncommon just like James and John.
Hard to speculate considering it's highly dubious conjecture to assume that parthenogenesis could be used or understood sufficiently, (back then) to confuse someone's paternity within the confines of an equally dubious religious legend/myth.
Assuming virgin birth requires human gullibility and requisite ignorance which existed in high concentrations during a primitive highly superstitious period of human evolution where if one were so inclined, they could report whatever narrative they thought "incredible" enough to be considered adequate proof for their "supernatural" origins to justify religiously-correct human/animal "creation".
Confusion. He knew what an obediently religious person she was, and it really didn't make sense to him that someone that devout would end up pregnant--as she had taken a vow of perpetual virginity, and I think St. Joseph knew about that before he agreed to marry her.

Joseph was going to divorce Mary quietly. Joseph was a gentleman.
An angel appeared to Joseph in his sleep and explained Mary's being with child was God's doing, and that he should not be afraid to marry her.
I don't appreciate the way you worded that.
However, Joseph was a man and it's almost inconceivable he could believe anything other than she had been with someone. BUT, if you read the biblical account, he was told exactly what was happening, which is why he ended up marrying her after he originally intended on "putting her away" which means divorce.
In Islam we do not believe that she (PBUH) ever married, so there was no Joseph. This was so that Mary (PBUH) could raise a son (PBUH) in the purest sense, with no male influence. This again illustrates how important women are, and how they are seen with respect and as pure human beings. God (SWT) actually wanted just a woman to raise one of his prophets (PBUH).
Intense. God didn't leave him without some assurance of the situation, though.
If you read the story, his thoughts were first for her safety than his own doubts. But then he was visited by an angel who told him what was happening, so everyone who claims he felt anything other than what is written is full of homemade crap.
It was common for older unmarried men with no children to marry women who were pregnant. It solved 2 problems. Mary was clever to think that one up, don't you think?
