I'm most likely getting a range rover sport hse. Well I am getting it unless I change my mind. This one only has about 34,000 miles on in and I'm getting it for 23,000. A close family friend owns it now. I test drove it today and I really like it but 8 out of 10 times, the reviews are bad. I really really really love this car and it's a great deal but is it worth it ? Please help

kind of scary that it only has 34,000 miles on it and it's only 23k. Something is going to go wrong with it, knowing a range rover, but if you're only paying 23k it's not a big deal.
If you buy it, expect mechanical problems, but other than that it's fine and if i found one for that cheap with that amount of miles on it i would consider buying it. :)
The Range Rover... Well, whether its the Range Rover original or the Sport, they're both magnificent vehicles. Although I have no clue what the reviews you mentioned stated, I'm pretty sure they were complaining about reliability. Land Rovers have a quite bad reputation when it comes to reliability. I've never owned a Range Rover myself, but if you are planning on getting one, expect mechanical failures, and don't expect the repair to be cheap; on the other hand, you're getting the car for a really good deal, so I guess it wouldn't be a huge loss...
Like what the guy above me said, Range Rovers are incredible vehicles. But it's still a British car, and most British cars for some reason are not very reliable. But if this doesn't matter to you, it is a great vehicle. They can handle almost anything you throw at it. It has very advanced luxury and off-road technologies that really separate it from the rest.
