Here's the thing sweetheart. I KNOW I'm a conservative. I'm also a Republican, but that is because the republican party is more in line with my ideals. Bush was not a "conservative". At least not in the fiscal sense, and for that he gets poor marks from me. But compared to the alternatives (Gore or Kerry) he was miles ahead.
I'm not a big social conservative, so I really don't care how much weed you smoke. Is Obama advancing your causes? You may answer yes now, but in the future when your grandkids ask where you stood , I bet you'll lie your a$$ off.
lmfao..is this a serious question??? LMFAO...ROFL... i dont..."think" im a conservative. i KNOW i am. marxism doesnt work and we will be there to clean up the mess when the obama train wreck is over. as for you advancing cause question...here are the bush accomplishments.

PLEASE NOTE....repeating liberal whine/pelosi/reid talking points doesnt make them true. THESE ARE THE FACTS!!!
You mean other than the freedoms people like you take for granted that Obama is single handily dismantling. Also why don't you take a minute to look up who gave more aid to Africa than anyone organization combined - i.e. Bush Admin - They saved more lives than you could ever imagine - He also kept your anti american a$$ safe after 911 which every media outlet said would have been impossible. Liberated Iraqi people - women aren't being stoned to death for allegations of adultery - Of course why would you care it's not happening to you so leave those thug regimes in power - right?
I guess that's not anything close to what you have accomplished but what can you expect from us mear mortals.
It must be nice to take everything America has to be the greatest nation on earth for granted in you little safe computer room.
Since you're so damn critical from your safe little perch let me ask you - what have you done to make this country better aside from tearing down Bush?
Look at Iran. There are people that the Bush administration gave a taste of freedom to, and now they are willing to die for more. How about free elections in Iran?
When Bush lowered the confiscatory Clinton tax rates, he cut off the recession, saving us from collapse in 2000.
Bush showed the world what presidential class looks like. Clinton and Obama have shown the world their asses.
The conservative cause is about freedom and true American spirit, Obama reads speech's teaching dependency and apathy. Bush said we can pull ourselves up out of this, Obama says you're too stupid, fat and lazy to do it, let the government save you.
I can go on and on, but I fear this is falling on deaf ears, and you really don't want to know the truth on this. You think you already know it, when you have yet to search for it.
Frankly, I'm more concerned with the amount of people that can't see the good in the conservative movement. It really shows a lack of heart and intelligence.
It depends if you mean social conservatism or fiscal conservatism. He did little on the fiscally conservative side but its still much less than the Obama spending spree and what he did spend was directed at enemies of the US to protect the constitution. A prime directive of the presidency.
Socially he was a conservative and it showed in the legislation he signed. Example: Federal funding of stem cell research.
Kept taxes low resulting in a steadily growing economy after the recession Clinton left. Well, up until the Dems took over Congress.
Yes, he spent like a drunken liberal and for that he was widely criticized by real Conservatives.
President Bush was not a Conservative by any stretch of the imagination and if you really think he was then you know absolutely nothing about the Conservative ideology.
What he DID do was prove once again that we're taxed ABOVE the revenue optimum by INCREASING income to the treasury via tax-cuts and create another America-friendly republic in the Middle-East.
Also, by siding with the Democrats on most things he PROVED beyond all argument that it's all about party power for them by showing us how they IMMEDIATELY decry their OWN policies as "right-wing evil" whenever it's possible for a Republican to get some of the "credit."
Example: No Child Left Behind is YOURS but your guys launched a pogrom against it the DAY Bush said he liked it.
So, for anyone who doesn't get all their information from confessed DNC propaganda machines, it was a very revealing 8 years.
Almost from day 1 we said Bush was a fiscal liberal- his expansion of government "to take issues away from the democrats" was idiotic from the start and we openly called for him to act like a conservative. We re-elected him because next to Kerry he looks like a great option.
You have an error in grammar. The question should read "...who think they're conservatives."
Mr. Bush is a Republican. He was not a conservative. I advance my own cause every chance I get. Conservatism works every time it is tried. Socialism always fails. You cannot deny history.
No child left behind (which although flawed, the Democrats agree with the basic concept)
Prescription drug benefits. (has reduced the costs, after the inital increase in costs)
Increased military spending, which provided better equipment and protection for those who choose to serve the country.
Changed the foreign relations policies, so that the US only provided support to countries that were moving towards democracy and freedom of choice for their people.
Maybe you should take some time to read about what Bush did accomplish instead of just bagging him.

Not a helluva lot.
He sided with the Democrats 85% of the time.
