I've gone years without lobster and have never had foie gras. I would probably like foie gras but I cannot justify the expense. I can make a good substitute with chicken livers that I buy locally for 99 cents a pound.
Never tried Foie Gras. And Lobster is too expensive. When I buy food, I buy for the whole family and not just me. It'll be nice to be on my own someday.

I can go my entire life without Lobster, Lee....(and I will!) ...as I am deathly allergic to all shellfish. ...and squid.
A plate of lobster on the same table as me, could kill me.
