I'm learning German,at this moment I'm learning the alphabet pronunciation first, anyways if I give +60 Minutes a day on school days and +120 minutes on non school days will I be able to grasp German? I live in South Africa and I can speak Afrikaans and English which is both Germanic languages. I want to become fluent one day. Going to Germany is not a option sadly. Thanks for the help

Yes you will. This is enough time to begin to grasp a language. Once you have the basics you should then start reading German literature.
That's over enough time to learn German.
Please don't give up on your dream to go to Germany. There is always a chance that you will be able to go there. You never know what opportunities there are in the future. You just have to believe.
I live in a small town in S.A. and we have a large German population here. I send the children to the German Lutheran church, they do youth activities there and meet South African children that speak German. Look if there is also a church or similar organisation near you and you can interact with German speakers.
That will help a lot.
The Germans have lots of opportunities for students from Africa going to study there. They have so many institutions ready to give you money to go and study there. Ask the German embassy for information.
Don't give up on your dream just work hard at your education and it could become a reality.
Studying the background will increase your learning that is true, but you will not actually learn to read and write that way, I suggest putting in 20 minutes a day to learning, and having a few penpals for germany for you to talk to. discussion is the best way of learning a language
Try watching some german movies with english or afrikaans subtitles. that basic idea helped me learn irish, french, arabic, and norwegian. good luck.
