I need help doing these equations. if you could help me that would really be great! I'm not sure if I'm supposed to factor them out or what I'm just really confused.
1) 2/x 1/2=1/3 ;x is not equal to 0.
2)
6h²- 11h-7 = 0
3)
7x² y= 30
4)
2/y 3/y² ; y is not equal to 0.
If you could explain it or show me how to do it that would be good.
Thanks in advance. : )
Update:Im so stupid. I was lookin at 2 different problems on number 3. Im sorry.
The real problem is 7x²= 18x -11.
Also, thanks for helping me. I understand it a little bit better now.

1) x=3 2/x * 1/2 = 2/2x 2's cancel 1/x=1/3
2)x= 7/3, -1/2 the factors of this quadratic are (2h+1)(3h-7) *use the quadratic formula to find this equation's zeros
3) you got me I can't figure this one out, and I'm in calculus. I tried substitution and factoring, but I'm hitting brick walls
4) 6/y^3 this is as far as I can go without the answer to the equation
1) Write your equation as general eq; ax^2+bx+c
2) Use Quadratic Formula: b(-or+)( sqrt(b^2-4ac))/2a
Hope this help.
1. i dont get it
2. yea you factor
6h^2-11h-7=0
6h^2-14h+3h-7=0
2h(3h-7)+1(3h-7)=0
answer---> (3h-7)(2h+1)=0
3. idk i aint that good lol
4. idk either
i hope getting #2 was enough
