80c under load is absolutely normal. Video cards run very warm while gaming. The GTX 260 can handle 80c under load without consequence. Your temps are within the safe temperature threshold. It all depends on ambient temps within your case, as well. You could always get a can of compressed air and spray the fan clean of any dust build-up, too.
yes that's about par for the course. Though the idle temps are bit higher than normal. But the temp under load is acceptable. I have SLI'd GTX 470's and during some heavy gaming, they'll both get up to around 87-91 C°.
Is the fan working on the graphics card?
Are you playing a game on the highest graphic settings?
If so, its an Overclocked card and is normal.
If not, check your GPU fan and is you have dust on the graphics card or in the heatsink, just a can of air and get rid of it.
But other than that, it should be ok... Just don't let it get above 90*C because its not good if its that high. If all else fails, try taking out the graphics card and try reinserting it after you cleaned out the AGP/PCIe slots. Hope this helps! Good luck
examine with the mfr for CPU and GPU specs. Cooling any gadget is an argument of having the warmth pulled remote from the unit to a warmth spreader (warmth sync) that's uncovered to outdoors air or a cooling fluid that (returned) incorporates the warmth potential remote from the equipment. added followers can help if the stream is inadequate to extract heated air from the in the cabinet. make beneficial that the air being drawn into the cabinet isn't already heated--as whilst cramming a equipment into or under a table the place the warmth only recirculates and keeps to be re-heated.
Gpu 80 C
On some nVidia cards that is unfortunately the norm, i suggest googling 'average full load temps for GTX 260 OC'
But it doesnt sound immediately harmful.
u have t add 60 degrees for Fahrenheit, so it running 120 f, go get fanspeed app. it will show u what going on.:) Viola
depends on what are you doing with your pc mine if its like surfing online it stays at 25 to 40 c but if it is gaming it can go up to 160 c that why i need water cooling sistem. but if i were u i would check the fan .
don't worry. It's not damagable.
thats a bit high, maybe system cooling
