My fiancé is currently driving back from visiting family 300 miles away from where we live.
I stayed home to take care of the animals, and I just got a call from him saying that he has 2 flat tires.
He tried calling AAA and they said that he needs a credit card to pay for service.
The woman on the phone told him to call 911, which to me seems like a waste since this is considered a non-emergency situation. Plus, cops don't bring you new tires or tow cars, so, after he called them, then what? I think she gave bad advice.
So I'm hoping someone out there can give me some good advice.
He has cash on him but we do not currently have any credit cards.
So my question is - Does anyone know of a reputable roadside assistance organization that is prepared to help non-members who pay cash?

Use the web to find a tow service or even a tire dealership nearest to where he is. Call them and explain the situation.
Have tow truck come and tow the car into town. If he has good insurance, that should cover the cost of towing.
