My dentist has tried root canal surgery but can’t get through because there is a ‘blockage’.?
She says to go to a specialist. This seems strange because if she can’t do it, then a specialist can’t do it. Should I see a specialist or have the wretched tooth pulled out?
A specialist has microscopes and possibly different equipment than the general dentist to get around the blockage. That's one reason a specialist can do things a general dentist can't.

A specialist has microscopes they use that your dentist will not have. I had to go to one too and they sorted it.
