MY childminder charges me £140 for 4 days a week i.e £560 a month but she's saying i have to pay £606 coz she is calculating that there are 52wks in a year so 52wks by £140 divided by 12mnths = £606. Is
this fair?

If you pay her every week, then you'd just pay the 140 per week, or 7280 per year. But if you pay by the month, yes it's fair because most months other than maybe February will have an extra day or two (or even three) over your calculation of 4 weeks per month. Or if you pay by the month, you could just count the days that she watched your children that month, and multiply by 140.
