6months ago my bf took out a contract phone but in the end the phone never got used so he asked to end the contract but they wanted £400 to do so, but my partner is unemployed at the moment but is seeking work and since nothing was heard from the company until today. they want £160 by the end of the weekend but neither of us can afford it but my bf has offered to pay back £10 a fortnight but the company wont except it they want the full amount or hes being taken to court or debt collectors will be sent out. my bf is really worried about it, anyone got any ideas? if he was to be taken to court would it rule in my bf favor has hes offered to pay £10 a fortnight? or whats the worst that could happen?
