Measure of angle 1 + measure of angle 6 = 180º?
Can someone show me how to do this? I'm lost.
Given: B is the midpoint of AC and C is the midpoint of BD
Prove: CD = ½ AC

Prove: CD = ½ AC
Since B is midpoint of AC, then AB = BC and AB + BC = AC.
Therefore, by substitution, BC + BC = AC.
Thus, 2 BC = AC and then, BC = 1/2 AC.
Since C is the midpoint of BD, then BC = CD.
By substitution, 1/2 AC = CD.
