In your 1942 book The New World on page 20 we read, “Adam in his perfection was the son of God . (Luke 3 : 38) The great heavenly Father placed as invisible guardian over his earthly son the beautiful "morning star", Lucifer, to enlighten the path of his earthly charges.”
So Lucifer is called the "morning star" and below in the NWT we find Christ is also called "morning star", so I need to ask, is Christ equal to Lucifer?
I also note in the book that Archangels were not created till sometime after Christ and Lucifer, therefore Your book is very clear, Christ could not be Michael.

Jehovah's Witnesses believe Jehovah created the pre-human Jesus as Michael, the archangel. So, for them, Jesus started off as a created angel. They then say Jesus (aka Michael the archangel) went on to create everything else - which must therefore have included this beautiful angel who sinned against God and deceived Adam and Eve. That is what they both have in common - they are both created angels.
But the Bible says no such thing. The pre-human Jesus is the Word, who was with God, in the beginning, and who was God. The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit are co-eternal and co-equal, never being created. Jesus is far superior to any angel - even an archangel - and the angels worship him.

Jesus is not called "morning star" in the Japanese Original™
Lucifer is a Latin mistranslation as there were no equivalent contextual Latin words for "morning star." Jerome just used a word that "fitted best." Modern English translations of Isaiah 14:12 are (correctly) abandoning the use of the word Lucifer.
Lucifer does not mean "the Devil" in either the Old or New testaments. The "morning Star" in Isaiah 14:12 is King Nebucadnezzar.
