You teach that Michael is the only Archangel because......
“Scriptural evidence indicates that the name Michael applied to God’s Son before he left heaven to become Jesus Christ and also after his return. Michael is the only one said to be “the archangel,” meaning “chief angel,” or “principal angel.”
Using your logic please explain why we have so many “THE” prophets?
The list is a very quick sample of the different prophets that have been called “THE” prophet, if the word “THE” Archangel means there is only one Archangel why does the the term “THE” prophet clearly not mean the only prophet.
Deu 18:20 But THE prophet who shall presume to speak a word
1Sa 22:5 And THE prophet Gad said to David
2Sa 7:2 The king said to Nathan THE prophet
2Sa 24:11 And the Word of Jehovah came to THE prophet Gad,
1Ki 14:2 Behold, there is Ahijah THE prophet
1Ki 16:7 And also by the hand of THE prophet Jehu
1Ki 18:36 Elijah THE prophet came near and said
Caps mine....
Update:@John17:3 Worship JAH, what is your answer, is there jusst one Archangel and onlyb one prophet??
I think the logic iss lost of truth.
Update 3:@jimspace3000, read all my quotes, which are just a few and you will see that i have covered your understanding of an equal reference to "THE". thank you.

Simple...Jehovah's Witnesses are today's "THE False Prophet", declaring dates, seasons and occurrences that were promised "By the Creator", yet all of their prophesies failed.
This False Prophet has winnowed the words of demons to mislead their people.
Johannes Greber.
They have made Jesus an angel, a simple messenger.
Your revealing of how they use the term "The Archangel" shows how they refuse to recognize that Jesus is above all of the angels, and NEVER was an angel!
JW's Go to Hebrews; 1-1-12, and read THE word. Stop reading INTO the word with false and misleading interpretations, just like Joseph Rutherford, and Charles Russell. Christians are tired of your lies!
They have announced that Michael the Archangel "Materialized" into different bodies of Jesus after the resurrection.
Making a Resurrection of Jesus' body, not a standing up from death, but a transformation from life to life, in the form of a materialization, this false teaching nullifies the validity of the Lord's Understood, Christian resurrection hope for mankind.
They have perverted Jesus' position with His Father, to command their own place before God Almighty.
That they even answer this question with boldness of error, is further proof of their rank of "False Prophet" to the people, in the name of the God of the Bible.
The fate of this people is sealed.
P.S., leave it to a JW to call this question "Worthless" then make a worthless attempt to answer it.
Michael is referred to in scripture a "ONE OF the Foremost Princes"...not THE Chief Prince. And Michael was not able to take the battle with Satan, he gave THAT job to Jesus.....Remember, Jesus told Satan in no uncertain terms who the boss is.
Jehovah's Witnesses have Michael "Materializing" into "different bodies" of Jesus, to fool the disciples into believing it was really Jesus...a Materialization" is NOT a resurrection. So Jehovah's Witnesses, Get behind God's Christians!
Greetings,
Your question is based on either a personal mis-comprehension or a purposeful Straw Man misrepresentation of why we believe Jesus is the Archangel.
Either way it is a worthless question.
Witnesses do NOT say that it is the use of the “article” which supplies evidence that Jesus is the only Archangel. In fact one of the primary verses Witnesses uses is at 1Thess.4:16 where the word Archangel DOES NOT HAVE THE ARTICLE in the Greek text!!
Also, your illogical understanding is the result of your having ignored the context and ripped your quote out of context.
A little more careful reading or comprehension on your part would have shown you that the context of your citation showed that the *two* evidences cited was that the prefix “‘arch,’ meaning ‘chief’ or ‘principal,’ implies that there is only one archangel, the chief angel,” and second that “in the Scriptures, ‘archangel’ is never found in the plural.”
In fact, just a few sentences before your quote you would have read: “The only holy angel other than Gabriel named in the Bible, and the only one called ‘archangel’ (Jude 9).” So it is clear to see that the immediate context of your quote shows that the Witnesses do NOT say that the use of the definite article has anything what-so-ever to do with whether Christ is the only archangel.
The Bible clearly speaks of MANY prophets and the word prophet appears in both singular and plural–both with and without the use of the definite article. But the word “Archangel” only appears in the singular and is only said of a single entity.
You should read a little more carefully before you jump to such ridiculous conclusions and continue embarrassing yourself.
*** it-1 p. 156 Archangel ***
The prefix “arch,” meaning “chief” or “principal,” implies that there is only one archangel, the chief angel; in the Scriptures, “archangel” is never found in the plural. First Thessalonians 4:16, in speaking of the preeminence of the archangel and the authority of his office, does so in reference to the resurrected Lord Jesus Christ: “The Lord himself will descend from heaven with a commanding call, with an archangel’s voice and with God’s trumpet, and those who are dead in union with Christ will rise first.” It is, therefore, not without significance that the only name directly associated with the word “archangel” is Michael.—Jude 9; see MICHAEL No. 1.
*** it-2 p. 393 Michael ***
The only holy angel other than Gabriel named in the Bible, and the only one called “archangel.” (Jude 9) The first occurrence of the name is in the tenth chapter of Daniel, where Michael is described as “one of the foremost princes”; he came to the aid of a lesser angel who was opposed by “the prince of the royal realm of Persia.” Michael was called “the prince of [Daniel’s] people,” “the great prince who is standing in behalf of the sons of [Daniel’s] people.” (Da 10:13, 20, 21; 12:1) This points to Michael as the angel who led the Israelites through the wilderness. (Ex 23:20, 21, 23; 32:34; 33:2) Lending support to this conclusion is the fact that “Michael the archangel had a difference with the Devil and was disputing about Moses’ body.”—Jude 9.
Scriptural evidence indicates that the name Michael applied to God’s Son before he left heaven to become Jesus Christ and also after his return. Michael is the only one said to be “the archangel,” meaning “chief angel,” or “principal angel.” The term occurs in the Bible only in the singular.
Yours,
BAR-ANERGES
God’s Word refers to Michael “the archangel.” (Jude 9) This term means “chief angel.” Notice that Michael is called the archangel. This suggests that there is only one such angel. In fact, the term “archangel” occurs in the Bible only in the singular, never in the plural. Moreover, Jesus is linked with the office of archangel. Regarding the resurrected Lord Jesus Christ, 1 Thessalonians 4:16 states: “The Lord himself will descend from heaven with a commanding call, with an archangel’s voice.” Thus the voice of Jesus is described as being that of an archangel. This scripture therefore suggests that Jesus himself is the archangel Michael.
Army Leader. The Bible states that “Michael and his angels battled with the dragon . . . and its angels.” (Revelation 12:7) Thus, Michael is the Leader of an army of faithful angels. Revelation also describes Jesus as the Leader of an army of faithful angels. (Revelation 19:14-16) And the apostle Paul specifically mentions “the Lord Jesus” and “his powerful angels.” (2 Thessalonians 1:7; Matthew 16:27; 24:31; 1 Peter 3:22) So the Bible speaks of both Michael and “his angels” and Jesus and “his angels.” (Matthew 13:41) Since God’s Word nowhere indicates that there are two armies of faithful angels in heaven—one headed by Michael and one headed by Jesus—it is logical to conclude that Michael is none other than Jesus Christ in his heavenly role.

Hi there!
Please read your quote again:
“Scriptural evidence indicates that the name Michael applied to God’s Son before he left heaven to become Jesus Christ and also after his return. Michael is the only one said to be “the archangel,” meaning “chief angel,” or “principal angel.”
Notice it said: "the only one ****said**** to be “the archangel,”" (emphasis added)
The examples you provide about "the prophet" do not match the criteria of being the only one called something.
I'm sorry but elementary reading comprehension would have saved you from this grievous blunder on your part.
Edit: Hi there! Your quotes show that there were many Bible prophets called the prophet, but none called the only prophet. Consideration of this would have saved you from embarrassment.
