I'm becoming a vegetarian. I will eat meat only at Christmas time, and even then, not a lot of it. I will eat fish, I'll still eat dairy and my Dad's delicous egg sandwiches, but that's it. Could you post some meal plans, and what kind of vegetarian am I? Like, what am I called?

It is a good choice to become vegetarian. The human body is not designed to digest meat, otherwise we would be tearing apart animals and eating them raw. Instead, meat remains rotting in your stomach for years. You are doing your body favour in the long run and the environment. You will be much less likely to develop cancer and heart disease, plus vegetarians live at least 6 years longer on average.
Carnivores have short intestines which allows for the flesh to be passed through the intestine quickly instead of rotting in the stomach.
Also, undigested meat along with poor diet, leads to a higher acidity in your body ph wise which will allow for problems with weight loss and swollen lymph nodes which will lead to cancerous tumors.
Meat production causes a great toll on the environment, and if everyone on earth was vegetarian there would be no starving children because instead of wasting the amount of land and plant food to over populate the planet with animals for the sole purpose of killing them, there would be an abundance of food. The amount of pollution caused in meat production is extremely detrimental to the planet. Plus, the way the meat industry treats the animals is not ethical, they are cooped up, abused, forced to live in filthy conditions, and live as a living sacrifice for someone's greedy desires which even causes harm to them in the end.
Include some of these in your diet:
algae, hempseeds and hempseed oil, walnuts, flaxseeds and flaxseed oil, olive oil, canola (rapeseed) oil, avocado and chia seeds for Omega 3 fatty acids.
If you are ovo-lacto vegetarian you can have some dairy and eggs for B12, but remember you do not require a lot of this. It is not healthy. Whey powder and yeast extract spreads are also good vegan sources. It is purely a myth that B12 deficiency occurs more with vegans - vegans are if anything less likely to have this problem. tempeh and miso are also great sources. Many cereals and soy products are fortified with B12.
Soy, nuts, seeds, beans, seitan and wheat products are good sources of protein.
Overall, whether you are vegetarian or not, it is important to keep a variety of colour in your diet throughout the day so that you obtain the maximum amount of vitamin absorption. vitamins require other vitamins in order to be absorbed in your body and be useful. Fresh fruits and veggies are much better than vitamins. It is healthier. Always make a point of trying a new fruit or veggie you haven't yet. Juicing will increase the absorption of nutrients.
You can easily find vegetarian meal ideas online and you may even have fun trying something you never thought of!
Congratulations on your choice! Whether you are just starting gradually or making a complete change right away, you are on the right path! Your body will thank you later. :)
If you eat meat, even just sometimes, you are not a vegetarian. However if the only flesh you eat is seafood, you are a pescetarian.
@aeWsOmE: When is the last time you saw a cow or chicken eat a human?
Most of the animals slaughtered in America are herbivores.
Your ignorance amuses me.
Anything less than a full vegan is a cop out.
Nothing is wrong with that, but you will lose weight and loose energy as well.
There is no need to be vegeterian god made meat to be feasted opon
