I’ve cut down the quantity of my food, improved the quality, and I’ve been exercising 2x a week for an hour (I don’t have a LOT of spare time, so I fit a workout in where I can). I started working on my figure in July, and it’s been slow going, but I’ve managed to lose 20 pounds so far. I started at 164lb, my goal weight is 134lb and I am currently 144lb. Oh, I’m 5’7”, so I know my goal is a healthy one.
What I want to know is, are there any tricks to boosting my metabolism? I think I just need a jump start to get back on track. I’ve been doing Pilates, and when I’m at home, I do squats rather than walking (especially up stairs). I wanted to buy a hula hoop (because it’s that bit of flab on my lower stomach, between my hips that I’m struggling most with) but they’re not in stores again until the spring.
I’m not looking to take any pills or magical drinks or anything, I’m just looking for some simple boosts.
Thanks!

Probably seeing that your frame went into hunger mode. Your very thin now and that used to be plenty of weight to lose. But now I do not consider you must lose anymore. This would get bad. You gotta preserve your weight now. Eat no less than a thousand-1200 energy an afternoon healthily. Exercise ALOT and you can be blissful together with your frame. I do not wanna say it however you would be main to an consuming disease.
Plateau is right. That's what happens after our bodies adjust to our work-out. The secret is doing something different that exercises different muscles.
For me, I live close to mountains so I can go hiking at altitude. That really burns up the calories. Whatever you choose, it should be something that wakes up your metabolism.
