Isn’t it terrifying to think that the majority of humans will be tormented in fire for eternity?
Right now, the majority of people who have ever lived are burning in Hell. And they will continue burning forever and ever. Why aren’t people more concerned about this?
To be sure, those who deny the Creation of GOD ,as we are now witnessing in the universe , when die ,their souls then would be collected together and brought them all to be burnt in tormented hell fire , both out side in and inside out eternally. They ask for it, who is to be blamed , since they challenge for it.
Luk 16:27-31 And he said, ‘Then I beg you, father, to send him to my father's house— for I have five brothers—so that he may warn them, lest they also come into this place of torment.’ But Abraham said, ‘They have Moses and the Prophets; let them hear them.’ And he said, ‘No, father Abraham, but if someone goes to them from the dead, they will repent.’ He said to him, ‘If they do not hear Moses and the Prophets, neither will they be convinced if someone should rise from the dead.’”
Its not true. Whats there to be concerned about? The story of hell is an old story clergy taught to uneducated people to keep them in line and keep them in church, keep them giving their offerings to the church. The Bible makes it very clear that no one needs to go to hell. we go there by our own decision. The decision to be negative has a negative outcome of course. Everyone knows this. The soul is eternal according to the best research we have on the subject. It goes someplace when we pass to the next level of existence. Negative souls go to a negative place by choice, positive souls to a positive place. Negative people arent happy. Now multiply that unhappiness by millions probably billions of people and you have a picture of hell. Is it torture? I believe it is
The idea of a burning hell is not a Biblical teaching. The term 'hell' in the Bible comes from the Greek and Hebrew words 'Sheol' and 'Hades', both which refer to the common grave of mankind. When an individual(& even animals) dies, they return 'to dust', a.k.a. break down to the bare elements they were made from and cease to exist. (Ecclesiastes 3:19 & 20) Adam and Eve received the same curse after disobeying Jehovah God in the Garden of Eden. (Genesis 3:19) While going through the process of returning 'to dust', the individual knows and feels nothing, completely unconscious. (Ecclesiastes 9:5, 6 & 10)
In regards the 'lake of fire' mentioned in Revelation, this is symbolic language describing eternal destruction. We know this because death and the grave are also to be sent there, along with the Devil himself. (Revelation 20:10 & 14)
The idea of an eternally burning tortuous hell is propagated by pop Christianity. It is not so. And if it was, how do you know your particular form of Christianity is valid? If God destroys anyone who has never heard the gospel, how do you know if you are on the right track to keep from being burned.
The reality is that a perfectly loving and just God has sent us to this earth to gain by experience, the attributes and joy of God. He is our Father. Hell is a temporary existence where the rebellious suffer great sorrow for their offenses against a perfect God. In their anguish, most people will bow the knee, grasp onto the atonement of Christ and receive a level of salvation. A few hateful souls will never repent and will be cast out of God's presence by their own choice.
The fullness of the gospel of Jesus Christ will be preached to all people, either here or after death.
"For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit: By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison;
Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water." First Peter 3:18-20
"For for this cause was the gospel preached also to them that are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit." First Peter 4:6

Because it's mythical nonsense.
It's only terrifying if you believe in that nonsense.

If that tale terrifies you,
then, in your case,
it has succeeded
at doing what it was invented to do.

Because the alternative, being with prigs like you, is even more terrifying.
