I'm not catholic but I remember back in my private Catholic school the phrase "Oh my God!" was not only unacceptable and frowned upon it earned you a time out and being accused of using God's name in vain. Other christian denominations don't necessarily agree with this and the only way they believe you can use God's name in vain is by putting a cuss word in front or behind it or saying something negative about it and such phrases as "Oh my God" are okay. But what about during "premarital" sex? (I know...it sounds old fashioned but I couldn't think of another word😒) You see it on TV, hear it in music and probably do it yourself, when ppl say "Oh my God!" is this using God's name in vain b/c it is said during what some believe is a sin? Should it really be that big of a deal?

Yes. The phrase in vain means without success.
I don't think anyone has ever not used it in vain.
The answer is not in the bible so why are you asking people who you know have no access to better evidence than you do yourself?
Yes, it's using God's name in vain.
You use God's name when you are talking to Him, or about Him.
Anything else ...is taking His name in vain.
Forget all that. What are you actually doing when you express yourself that way? For some it is a simple ritual that they have integrated that way into most of what they do. For others it is a pastime until they learn a better way to express themselves. And for all it may be part of a game we play to grab attention or give attention. At any rate the strokes we get and give are that way and will probably be that way for the rest of our lives. Most of us know no better. In my case a lack of sufficient mental discipline has led to me channeling my verbal expressions that way unless I take consciousness of it and mentally think of a more objective way to express myself. Not that any Being as like God would even worry about anything I can utter. I would probably sound like a cockroach spattering under the weight of His Shoe.
It's not in vain if the sex is that good.

it is an irreverent act of vain and self-preoccupied men
Praise King Jesus!
No.
Refrain and try not to use His name casually.
If one is really calling on God, no. Otherwise it is trivializing his name.
yes, that qualifies
