I will be signing up at my local gym next month to work on slimming down my thighs and legs. I was wondering would the elliptical machine help or is the stairmaster machine better? Im pretty much in shape i just want to tone my legs and thighs by christmas time. So what machine would help me out???

Im 16
I weigh 106 or 107
Im a vegetarian
I only eat fruits, veggies & leafy salad with a combination of cabbage
I drink about 7-10 24oz Dasani water bottles a day

for 2years and my doctor is perfectly ok with it♥♥♥

I think that the best machine to slim down the legs and thighs would be a treadmill. Not only could it trim the size of your legs and thighs, it could workout the entire body as well. It's like an overall package. Make sure you jog at least 30 - 45 minutes daily or run 15 for minutes and jog another 30 minutes daily in order to achieve your goals. For beginner, you can start jogging 30 minutes first. Normally the fitness instructors in any gym would guide you on how to go about the treadmill(basic stuff). With your combined diet (as stated above), i think you should be able to achieve your goals soon. *Extra tips :- Find a gym that offers classes (like body combat, body jam or other les mills programmes). Go for all the classes, choose your most preferred and go for it whenever you can.
When walking/running on the elliptical, it's tough to keep up the same pace for a long period of time, especially when you start getting tired. I'd have to say that the stairmaster is a better choice, since it definitely works out those body parts.
Also, at a gym, you could just ask a personal trainer or somebody working at a desk. It's their job to help you, so take advantage of it :D
