Is purity essential for reading Qur’aan from one’s mobile phone?
Some mobile phones have a Qur'aan programs which enable one to read the Qur'aan anytime on the mobile’s screen. Is Taharah a condition before one starts reciting?.
Well, the mobile phone contains tons of binary data not just the Qur'an. The verse in the Qur'an obviously talks about the Book itself in paper and ink. Reading from the mobile phone is like recalling from your memory. It is all digital data not physical ink paper. I almost never have ablution when reading from the mobile phone.
If you are still not sure, you can ask for a fatwa from the (Ask the Scholar) section in the following website:
One should be in a pure pious state while *reading* the Holy Quran.
To be honest, I believe one should not have Quran in their mobile phones at all because we sometimes takes mobile with us to the washroom as well. anyways, the most dominant opinion of scholars as well as what Quran tells us is, one should be in a pure state while reading Quran. so yes, even when you are reading from your cell phone, make wudu, as this will earn you more rewards and its wise to be on the safe side.
Allah Says: {Which (that Book with Allâh) none can touch but the purified.}[56:79].
i'm not a felony professional yet with a speedy google seek i found right here: "3.8.5 ...the felony capability for college group to seek scholars at the instant purely extends to weapons. ...regardless of the indisputable fact that, notwithstanding if it rather is felt mandatory for a student to be looked for (say) unlawful drugs or stolen belongings, that could desire to be performed by potential of the police fairly than college group utilising the suitable powers available to them. 3.8.6 ...at the same time as confiscation of a cell telephone is valid, looking with the aid of a telephone or getting access to textual content cloth messages without the student's permission isn't. In some circumstances it is lifelike for a member of group to ask a student to bare a message for the point of installation notwithstanding if cyberbullying has handed off, working example, yet while the student refuses then the member of group shouldn't enforce the practise. the staff member can, regardless of the indisputable fact that, legitimately subject a disciplinary penalty for failure to persist with a lifelike practise. revealed: 10 April 2007"
i think if purity is a must then we should be always pure because it is always almost in hands, whether you are running the program or not it is the same, and you can not touch light photons with your hands,,
