HOST GRETCHEN CARLSON: Do you think it will work to your advantage [having Ifill moderate the debate given her book] because people will really be looking at her questions?
McCAIN: Frankly, I wish they had picked a moderator that isn’t writing a book favorable to Barack Obama. Let’s face it. But I have to have to have confidence that Gwen Ifill will handle this as the professional journalist that she is. ... Life isn’t fair, as I mentioned earlier in the program.

John F. Kennedy used to say, "Life is unfair" every now and then. Well, John McCain, I know you're about the same age, but, Senator, you're no Jack Kennedy!
An admission of facts is hardly a recipe for despair. Unlike Obambots and their rose colored glasses outlook that think their candidate can somehow fix everything by chanting "Hope in Change" McCain has a more realistic grasp on things. Obama and his followers will change their tune if Obama is elected and has to shoulder the reality of things he cannot fix with lies.

The problem is that this book was known to be published back before the candidates agreed to Ifill doing the moderating. McCain knew about the book, but wants now to use it as ammo in case Palin screws up tonight.
it sounds to me, like he's up to the challenge. i think that's what he's saying here... we all have to deal with situations that aren't wine and roses, he's gotta deal with the remnants of a moderator that's not fair and unbiased and that's just how it is... life isn't fair. grow up, life isn't fair. yeah, and as professional as the idiots on CNN or Fox News? Take your pick, horrifically, unprofessionally left or right. There is no professionalism left in journalism that I've seen within the past few years.
Life is not fair, simple fact. Some people make more money than me, some make less, some win the lottery, some don't, some people have terrible illnesses, some don't. No constitutional guarantees that life will be fair, plain and simple fact!
Oh my gosh this guy is so scared of Obama and Biden. First he tries to cancel out on the debate numerous time last week, he never once glanced at Obama during the debate, and now he's scared of the moderator. Haha!
He heard about ACORN passing out a bottle of Ripple wine to the homeless in Ohio for each vote.
Life isn't fair? LOL, this coming from a rich white male, who only got into a post secondary institution because his father had influence ,and married into money.
Sounds old John is looking at life's glass being half empty.
A great message to send out to the youth of America. A message of hope............NOT
Yep.
This is just the asphalt to pave the road for excuses why she lost the debate.
