Paul said at 2Corinthians 4:3: If, now, the good news we declare is in fact veiled, it is veiled among those who are perishing
What did he mean? How was it veiled? Is this true also in our day? How so?

The good news is revealed to everyone, except to those who refuse to believe. Satan is "the god of this evil world." His work is to deceive, and he has blinded those who don't believe in Christ (see 2 Corinthians 11:14, 15). The allure of money, power, and pleasure blinds people to the light of Christ's Good News. Those who reject Christ and prefer their own pursuits have unknowingly made Satan their god. (Life Application Study Bible - NLT)
The good news is veiled in many ways:
a) By Satan - he doesn't want people to know the truth of the Bible. He wants people serving him.
b) By ignorance - people are in darkness mentally (Ephesians 4:18), they are misguided in their understanding - for example Saul was so blinded by ignorance and prejudice he was condoning the stoning of Stephen and persecuted the congregation. However, he learnt the truth and changed.
c) By lack of humility - the Pharisees as a group in Jesus day would not listen to Jesus or his teachings - they knew the Law, but they didn't believe anyone else could teach them about it.
The same is true today - many people don't listen to the truth which is explained in the Bible for the same reasons outlined above.
Lets us be meek and teachable and listen!
this is only my opinion, - the bible speaks of the Truth of God being hidden from those who refuse to acknowledge Him.
the good news of Christ was 'veiled' in the old testament, as Jesus had not been born yet.

2 Corinthians 4
3But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:
4In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
