Sunshine MacGillicutty and Matt Dillon were enjoying their refreshing swim down at the water hole, which Sunshine referred to in posting intent for another question today. They had frolicked in the water like a couple of sea otters and had engaged in a little "slap and tickle" on a blanket on the bank afterwards.

Now Sunny was relaxing in Matt's muscular arms. They were laying on their backs in the shade, staring up at the patterns made by the leaves of the cottonwood trees and ruminating about their love for each other and the life they had together.

"You are the sunshine of my life," Matt whispered to Sunny, "and I swear to you our time has just begun."

"When Miss Kitty had you, babe, she never knew just what she had," intoned Sunny dreamily, staring into the trees.

The sun glistened off Matt's well-muscled torso, beads of water from the swim and sweat from their exertion dancing on his skin. Sunny felt that urge that had become so familiar welling up within her. "Roll over, Beethoven, and tell Tschaikovsky the news!" she hollered, and pushed Matt onto his back for another round of afternoon delight.

Later, when Matt, Sunny, and the day were all spent, Matt and Sunny decided to go into town to eat dinner at the Long Branch. Sunny had been much too preoccupied to cook, and Matt thought she deserved an evening out.

When they got to the door, they were met by Kitty, who had a baby in her arms. "I don't believe you've met my baby, Matt," she said. "It's yours!" The baby looked JUST old enough to have been conceived when Matt and Kitty were last together.

Matt slumped down into a chair in disbelief. He was almost beside himself with panic. What was he to do? He was an honorable man, and he'd have to do the honorable thing. But what of his love for Sunny??

Sunny, as always, was the voice of reason. " Don't freak out until you know the facts. . . .relax. . . . Max," she crooned to Matt in a soothing voice.

While Matt tried to gather his wits and regain his composure, Sunny went out into Dodge to do a little investigative work. She had seen no indication in previous months that Kitty had been pregnant, and had noticed no birth announcement in the Dodge Tattler-Herald .

A few inquiries brought the name of Mrs. Hyacinthe Ringrose to Sunny's attention. She and Matt invited Mrs. Ringrose out to their house to talk. Mrs. Ringrose came with her mother; she was naturally concerned about being summoned to the Marshall's house. To their delight, Sunny merely invited them in for a cup of tea. In talking to Hyacinthe, they learned that Kitty had offered to babysit her baby. Miss Kitty had represented that Hyacinthe's baby was hers, in a deceitful plot to steal Matt back from Sunshine!

With her plot uncovered, Miss Kitty, as usual, turned for solace to her ever-present bottle of Randy Scouce Rot-Gut Whiskey. With Matt's nerves back intact, Sunshine could return to what had become most important to HER (wink, wink)!!!!

Max and Michelle were doing a interview for Love Magazine.There interview was with Miss Sunshine MacGillicutty and her famous US Marshall Matt Dillion. However Max was very nervous about meeting such two respected people of Dodge City. Michelle had to nudge him and she said to him (1) Don't Freak out until you know the facts......relax.......Max. So with that he did try to pull himself together, as they reached the door to Sunshines and Matts little place. Sunshine greets them at the door waring a lovely dress that she has made. Yep the girls got more tallent then a barrel of monkeys! "Did you know she also played the guitar and sang like an angel?." She lets them in and says (2) "I don't believe you've met my baby." She introduces them to the Marshall. She asks them to be seated and the interview starts. Marshall asks Michelle "What led to the break up of you and Miss Kitty." The Marshall looks up and directly into her eyes and says "Well I fell hard for SunnyMac and knew I needed to be with her so that is why I had to do what I had to do". Then Sunshine had to react to that statment because she just could not let this moment go by......she leans over to Matt and says (3) "When Miss Kitty had you, babe she never knew just what she had." And then without hessitation she added (4) "And I swear to you our time has just begun." This floored the two interviewers to see so much love coming from a couple that they barely even knew was priceless. Max and Michelle have done a lot of interviews, but not with as much love as Sunshine and Mat seemed to have for eachother you just don't see that kind of love now a days.(5) To their delight, you'd mearly invie them in for a cup of tea. But they got more much more they saw that love was still possible even in Dodge City and with that Matt tells Sunshine (6) "You are the sunshine of my life". At this point Max and Michelle decided to take the high road back into Dodge to bunk for the night before leaving the next day back to their offices a few towns over. They said their good-byes and walked to the door leaving the very happy couple alone and in the bedroom. Matt had all ready been in bed while Sunshine was finishing prettying her self up for a night she and Matt would not soon forget......She walks out waring a nice negligae she made... it looked spectacular on her and fit really well. Matt was in awe he never really saw that much beauty on a woman before. But she had it! And in all the right places if you know what I mean. With that he pats the bed and she darts screaming THIS: "Roll Over Beethoven and tell Tschaikowsky the news." And she flies into bed landing beside the Marshall right where she belongs. The End
