I’m looking for the perfect PS4 game?
I really enjoy Nintendo games like Mario Kart and Mario Odyssey. Problem is, my switch overheats easily and it’s hot where I live.
All I’m asking for is a 3D game with colorful graphics, decent music and some engaging gameplay with a story that doesn’t get in the way too much.

If you got a PSVR, then get Astro Bot. That game is lauded as the best PS4 platformer, since it uses the VR technology to the fullest. But remember, you need a PSVR in order to play it.
There's also RPGs like Persona 5, Ni no Kuni II, Dragon Quest XI, Trails series, or the Kingdom Hearts series that's vibrant with colors and good graphics & story.
Knack, a launch party title that should be in your line of interests. A sequel already exists, simply Knack 2. If you have a PS4 I can't help but recommend Persona 5 as well. Excellent JRPG.
