i heard that this car was a gallon devorator...
but its is not real in my case.... my car is doing 19 mpg overall (city, highway)

Yes. It just depends on the condition of the entire car....engine, transmission, tires, etc. I remember when people were trading them in, we would get calls from arabic people in Saudi Arabia. They paid top dollar for them because of how-well they were built. Of course, they didn't care about gas mileage. For a car of its size and weight, it gets very good gas mileage.
Your economy is well within the norms for the car when driven for fuel economy.
If you drove a new Cobalt or Civic or... the same way, you'd see 35-40 mpg.
OH YES!!!!. In fact if ya feather the pedal you can do better than that.
